Buying for Baby - Part 3

The last versatile piece of furniture that I would like to showcase is Sutton’s compactum.

Some compactums have built up sides (much like Sutton’s change mat in the image above). These sides, however, run along the length of the compactum top. We decided to look for a compactum that looked similar to a chest of drawers and fitted the aesthetics of Sutton’s room. We found our compactum from Cozi Cot (https://www.cozicot.co.za/). This is the same company that we purchased our cot from. We purchased the Cozi Morgan with Handles (without the frame along the back and sides).

We loved how this piece instantly matched the look that we were going for in Sutton’s room. We initially didn’t want the change of colours going from the top drawer to the last; however, I actually love it. This piece of furniture can also be moved throughout the house or in any bedroom in time to come. I am so happy that we made this choice and that we will have this for a longer period.

We bought Sutton’s nappy changing station from Ruby Melon (https://www.rubymelon.com/). We also bought his changing frame and hanging toys from them too. The hanging frame and toys aren't pictured in these images as we have since packed them away.

I hope that this series of versatile pieces have been helpful. I think it is always important to think ‘outside of the box’, especially when items are pricey.

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.
