Oh Baby!

Long time no blog!

I can promise you that there is a valid reason. I had a little secret that I was keeping, but this secret gets bigger daily.

Today, Damian and I celebrate our baby being 16 weeks old in my belly. That’s right, Damian and I are expecting a baby.

I apologise for not sharing this news sooner, but to be honest, I also don’t. These last few months have been simply magical as Damian and I got to celebrate to ourselves and then with our most loved ones.

We finally confirmed my pregnancy on Thursday the 19th of April (it took us a while to get the gynae appointment). It was a beautiful and emotional day.

I can’t quite explain the life-changing moment when you hear your baby’s heartbeat for the first time. It takes your breath away and brings tears to your eyes.

Thank you to our families and besties for respecting our privacy over this time and celebrating in shared and closed moments together.

As my tummy grows and Damian and I learn absolutely everything we didn’t know before, I’ll share this most exciting journey with you.
